ACCESS TO THE ONLINE RENEWAL PORTAL

The Kansas State Board of Technical Professions would like to remind everyone that only the licensee should be accessing his or her renewal portal. Important Updates to K.A.R. 66-8-3 and K.A.R. 66-14-1

Kansas has decoupled! Professional Engineer applicants may now test before meeting the four-year experience requirement.  All requirements must be completed before licensure. Please utilize the Application for Professional Engineer Examination.

K.A.R. 66-14-1 now requires that 24 of the required 30 CEUS be related to health, safety, property and welfare (HSPW). Licensees may not obtain more than 10 CEUS in any 24-hour period. Five self-study CEUS are allowed with proof of course completion.  Kansas rules and regulations must be met to satisfy the continuing education requirement.
