Board of Technical Professions

• The Board does not accept electronic signatures or scanned copies of applications. 
• All submissions must have a wet signature to be processed by the Board. 
• Handwritten or incomplete forms will not be accepted. 
• Pending applications and any supporting documents will be kept on file for one calendar year.

The online version of the Application for Professional Engineer Examination is currently unavailable.

                 - Professional References (see detailed instructions on the first page of the application)

Professional Engineer by Reciprocity - Model Law Engineer

        Requirements: 
                 - Completed Application Form 
                 - Non-Refundable Application Fee of $250.00

Application for Reinstatement
If your Kansas Professional Engineering license has lapsed or been cancelled, you must complete the Reinstatement Application.  The fee is $100.

Return to Practice Application
If your Professional Engineering license has been on Inactive status, you must complete the Return to Practice Application to change your license to Active status.  Continuing education is required for Active status.

Emeritus Status Application
A Professional Engineer who chooses this status may not practice in Kansas, however they may use their professional title in conjunction with the word "emeritus."  No renewal required.
